DYONMED Oorixia Test

While actual ovulation lasts only 12 to 48 hours, a woman is potentially fertile for up to 6-7 days during her cycle. The Ωorixia test® is scientifically designed to detect the critical “LH surge” (Luteinizing Hormone) in urine, which typically happens 24 to 36 hours prior to ovulation. This surge is the body’s signal that an egg is about to be released.

How to Read the Results:

• POSITIVE (LH Surge): The color intensity of the Test Line (“T”) is the same as, or stronger/darker than, the Control Line (“C”). This indicates a high concentration of LH in the urine, meaning you are at your most fertile peak.
• NEGATIVE (Baseline): The Control Line (“C”) appears, but the Test Line (“T”) is either not visible or its color intensity is significantly weaker/lighter than the Control Line (“C”). This indicates that LH levels are at the baseline (pre-ovulation or late post-ovulation).
• INVALID: The test is invalid if the Control Line (“C”) is not visible after 5 minutes. This usually indicates a procedural error or insufficient sample volume. Verify the testing procedure and repeat with a new test device.

This test is designed for in-vitro diagnostic use (self-testing) only. Do not use the test after the expiration date printed on the foil pouch. The test device must remain in the sealed pouch until use. Do not freeze. If you have been diagnosed with certain medical conditions (like PCOS) or are taking hormonal medications/fertility treatments, consult your healthcare provider, as these factors may affect the test results. Keep out of reach of children.

• For the best accuracy, it is recommended to test your urine at approximately the same time each day.
• Unlike pregnancy tests, first-morning urine is usually not recommended for ovulation testing, as LH is synthesized early in the day and may not show up in urine until later. Midday to early evening testing is often optimal.
