DYONMED Emino Test

The DyonMed Emino test® (One-Step FSH Menopause Test) is an advanced rapid immunochromatographic assay that detects elevated levels of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH). As a woman approaches menopause, her body produces less estrogen, which in turn causes the production of FSH to significantly increase.

This test is specifically designed for women over 40-45 who are experiencing early climacteric symptoms, or younger women suspecting premature ovarian failure. How to Use the DyonMed Emino test®:

1. Remove the colored protective cap from the test device.
2. Hold the test directly in the vertical stream of your urine for at least 10 seconds (alternatively, you can dip it into a clean container holding the urine sample).
3. Replace the plastic cap, place the test on a flat horizontal surface, and wait for the lines to appear.
4. Read the result in 3 to 5 minutes. Do not interpret the results after 5 minutes have passed.

Interpretation of Results:

• POSITIVE (Menopause/Pre-menopause indication): The color intensity of the Test line (“T”) is the same as or stronger/darker than the Control line (“C”). This means FSH levels are high.
• NEGATIVE (Normal FSH levels): The Control line (“C”) appears, but the Test line (“T”) is either not visible at all, or its color is weaker/lighter than the Control line (“C”).
• INVALID: The Control line (“C”) fails to appear. The test is invalid and must be repeated with a new device.

This test is an in-vitro diagnostic tool designed for self-testing. A positive result indicates elevated FSH levels, which is strongly associated with menopause, but it is not a definitive clinical diagnosis on its own. Oral contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, or certain medical conditions can affect your FSH levels. Always consult your gynecologist to confirm the results and discuss your symptoms before making any medical decisions or starting any treatments. Keep out of reach of children.

• For the most accurate results, it is highly recommended to use the first morning urine, as it contains the highest concentration of FSH.
